The First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University is a large comprehensive hospital founded in 1946. It is a state-owned Grade A hospital and one of the three regional medical centers in Liaoning province.The hospital undertakes a series of tasks in terms of medical treatment,teaching,research,preventive health care,first aid and emergency handling.

With 2800 designated bed capacity,the hospital includes 82 clinical departments,4 research institutes and 40 teaching and research sections.There are also 2 provincial-level key subjects, 23 provincial-level key clinical specialties,4 provincial-level key labs and 3 provincial-level transforming and engineering medical research centers.The hospital is one of the popular science bases in Liaoning province. Among more than 2000 staff,there is 1 specialist of Yangtze River Scholar by the Ministry of Education,304 experts with senior titles, 189 doctors with doctoral degrees,492 doctors with master’s degrees,209 instructors of graduate students,105members of state-level societies and 369 members of provincial level societies.The hospital serves as the standardized training base for National Residents,national drug clinical trial base,national health management demonstration base,national comprehensive hospital of traditional Chinese medicine demonstration unit and national coronary intervention training base.Besides,it has one center for allergy and clinical immunology,one center for SPF-level laboratory animal,one biological sample library platform,one research center for bone tissue engineering transforming medicine and one center of cancer transforming medicine research.Apart from the two transforming medicine research centers,there is one center of drug transforming medicine research.In 2015,the allergic subject ranked 14 in discipline ranking regarding the hospital’s influence of science and technology.

The second affiliated hospitals of Jinzhou Medical University and school of stomatology of Jinzhou Medical University ( The second affiliated hospital of Liaoning Medical University) was founded in 1992. It is a provincial comprehensive hospital which is given priority to diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases and integrates medical service, education and research. School of stomatology adopts teaching, clinical and scientific research management system, which is the first master’s degrees awarded points in stomatology in western Liaoning province, undertaking various levels of oral specialty teaching tasks, including undergraduates, graduated and international students. It is Chinese Stomatological Association Governing Unit, National Dental Resident Physician Normalized Training Base, Chinese Stomatological Association Dental Nurse Training Base, Stomatology Clinical Skill Training Center and Oral Standardized Training Base in Liaoning Province, and it is the only one science and training base concentrating on oral health education in western Liaoning Province

The third affiliated hospital of Jinzhou Medical University, formerly known as Jinzhou Center Hospital of Shenyang Railway Nureau, was founed in 1922 and was approved as 3A grade hospital by the Ministry of Public Health in 1995. It was handed over to Jinzhou Medical College ( JInzhou Medical University now) in 2004. The hospital covers 64,000 square meters, with 1273 staff, 1350 clinic beds and 48 clinical departments. The hospital has lots of advanced equipment, of which more than 800 pieces are over 10000 RMB, including the Toshiba 64-row CT, the Philips1.5T magnetic resonance, the Philips Large Slab Digital Subtraction Angiography and etc. The hospital is also known as ‘ Diabetes Prevention and Control Center of Western Liaoning Branch in Liaoning Province,’ ‘Diabetics Eye Disease Prevention and Control Center of Western Liaoning Branch in Liaoning Province’ and ‘Occupational Injury Rehabilitation Center in Liaoning Province.’ Ophthalmology, gynaecology and obstetrics, and rehabilitation are the key construction specialties conducted by Health and Family Planing Commission of Liaoning Province. The hospital owns Eye Center, Diabetes Center and Rehabilitation Medicine Center of Jinzhou Medical University.
